On the fringes

Israeli policemen block members of Neturei Karta, a fringe ultra-Orthodox movement within the anti-Zionist bloc, at the entrance to Beit Yonatan in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan, on December 27, 2010, prior to a visit by Israeli parliament members of the National Union party to the building that houses several Jewish families in the mostly Palestinian area.

About this blog

Photo Op: short for photo opportunity, originally referred to an opportunity to take a memorable and effective photograph of a politician, a celebrity, or a notable event. The term has acquired a negative connotation, referring to a carefully planned pseudo-event, or a non-event that often masquerades as news. This blog is called "Photo Op" and I hope this is where the resemblance to the above definition ends.
