Fighting for the hospital

Staff members and employees of Bikur Cholim Hospital demonstrate against its planned closure at the beginning of 2011 due to a lack of funds and the absence of a 30 million Shekels Treasury grant, during a protest in front of the Israeli parliament, the Knesset in Jerusalem, on December 27, 2010.

About this blog

Photo Op: short for photo opportunity, originally referred to an opportunity to take a memorable and effective photograph of a politician, a celebrity, or a notable event. The term has acquired a negative connotation, referring to a carefully planned pseudo-event, or a non-event that often masquerades as news. This blog is called "Photo Op" and I hope this is where the resemblance to the above definition ends.
