Seder rehearsal 2012

Ethiopian Jewish immigrants attend the rehearsal of a ceremonial Passover holiday dinner known as the 'Seder' at an immigrant absorption center in Mevaseret Zion, near Jerusalem on April 2, 2012. The meal was organized in order to teach the new immigrants which celebrate their first 'Seder' in Israel, about the Jewish holiday that commemorates the flight of Jews from ancient Egypt as described in Exodus.

About this blog

Photo Op: short for photo opportunity, originally referred to an opportunity to take a memorable and effective photograph of a politician, a celebrity, or a notable event. The term has acquired a negative connotation, referring to a carefully planned pseudo-event, or a non-event that often masquerades as news. This blog is called "Photo Op" and I hope this is where the resemblance to the above definition ends.
