Chinese workers use chainsaws to carve blocks of ice in preparation
for an exhibition of Jerusalem's most famous sites, all carved in ice,
ahead of the upcoming International Ice Festival which opens in Jerusalem next month, on February 13, 2012.
Photo Op: short for photo opportunity, originally referred to an opportunity to take a memorable and effective photograph of a politician, a celebrity, or a notable event.
The term has acquired a negative connotation, referring to a carefully planned pseudo-event, or a non-event that often masquerades as news.
This blog is called "Photo Op" and I hope this is where the resemblance to the above definition ends.
