| Workers are seen in several construction sites along the route of the high-speed railway between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, on november 1, 2011. The new railway, set to be completed in 2017, will span about 55 kilometers and include a series of bridges and tunnels. It will connect Israel’s capital to the Greater Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area by means of a high-speed rail link, reducing the travel time between the two cities to approximately half an hour. |
