Noam Shalit, father of Israeli captured soldier Gilad Shalit, is seen at the courtroom of the Supreme Court in Jerusalem, on October 17, 2011, prior to a discussion in four petitions filed to the court by Israeli relatives of Palestinian attack victims, opposing the upcoming prisoner exchange deal with Hamas. About this blog

Photo Op: short for photo opportunity, originally referred to an opportunity to take a memorable and effective photograph of a politician, a celebrity, or a notable event. The term has acquired a negative connotation, referring to a carefully planned pseudo-event, or a non-event that often masquerades as news. This blog is called "Photo Op" and I hope this is where the resemblance to the above definition ends.
