Israeli policemen arrest a protester during a demonstration against social inequalities and the high cost of living in Israel, held in front of Prime Minister Netanyahu's residence in Jerusalem, on September 2, 2011. Israelis are expected to continue their protest tomorrow and take to the streets of major cities all over Israel, as part of the "The million-person march", in an effort to breathe fresh life into this summer's demonstrations over a wide array of social and economic issues.

About this blog

Photo Op: short for photo opportunity, originally referred to an opportunity to take a memorable and effective photograph of a politician, a celebrity, or a notable event. The term has acquired a negative connotation, referring to a carefully planned pseudo-event, or a non-event that often masquerades as news. This blog is called "Photo Op" and I hope this is where the resemblance to the above definition ends.
