| A man walks past a view of
Jerusalem's old city walls and the golden Dome of the Rock Islamic
shrine on January 17, 2011, a day officially dubbed as the most
depressing day of the year or 'Blue Monday'. The term was first defined
by Cliff Arnall, formerly of Cardiff University, marking the third
Monday in January as the most depressing day of the year, when people
suffer from a series of combined depressive effects: winter weather
conditions, debt level (the difference between debt accumulated and
our ability to pay), time since Christmas, time since failing our new
year’s resolutions, low motivational levels and feeling of a need to
take action. |
