The Kahane followers

Followers of the late Rabbi Meir Kahane, founder of both the Jewish Defense League (JDL) and "Kach", an Israeli political party, pray at his grave at the Givat Shaul cemetery in Jerusalem (top photo), and later attending a rally marking the 20th anniversary of his death (bottom photo) in Jerusalem, on October 26, 2010. Kahane was assassinated by an Arab gunman in a Manhattan hotel on November 1990.

About this blog

Photo Op: short for photo opportunity, originally referred to an opportunity to take a memorable and effective photograph of a politician, a celebrity, or a notable event. The term has acquired a negative connotation, referring to a carefully planned pseudo-event, or a non-event that often masquerades as news. This blog is called "Photo Op" and I hope this is where the resemblance to the above definition ends.
