Missing Yinon Nissan

An image of IDF soldier Yinon Nissan, who was killed during the 2nd Lebanon War hangs from a necklace over the chest of his father, Moshe, during a memorial ceremony at the Mount Herzl military cemetery in Jerusalem, on April 19, 2010, as the state of Israel marks the annual Memorial Day for Fallen Soldiers.

About this blog

Photo Op: short for photo opportunity, originally referred to an opportunity to take a memorable and effective photograph of a politician, a celebrity, or a notable event. The term has acquired a negative connotation, referring to a carefully planned pseudo-event, or a non-event that often masquerades as news. This blog is called "Photo Op" and I hope this is where the resemblance to the above definition ends.
